Try ending the java process instead of the application, so it only ends one of them.

I do that, but when I end either of the java.exe processes it just closes Java itself.

Which Java are you ending? Java.exe or Javaw.exe? Ending Java.exe should fix it, but ending Javaw.exe exits the client. End the whole tree, not just the single thing.

I think you said you did that, but try it again.

I have tried that too, but again it just ends Java itself.

Tech Support / Java Problem - Again
February 27, 2011, 07:00:22 PM
So I'm having the same problem I had here again.

So far I've tried all the things that fixed it last time and nothing has worked:

  • Uninstalling and installing Java again.
  • Trying an older version of Java.
  • Killing the process using all the CPU. (Just ends Java all together.)
  • Just reinstalling Windows. (Not that big a deal to me.)

I have also tried all the above things on my fresh install of Windows, and it doesn't work.

Sometimes there is more than one Java.exe in task manager, one that is using a lot of ram and cpu, and one that isn't. Ending either one just ends Java. Kind of lost on what to do now, Google searches on the subject bring nothing up.

I did that, but it just made new ones that used the same amount of memory. Doesn't really matter since I have a new OS that Java runs fine on.

Erm... Computer re-boot...?

Done several times.
If nothing works I'll just have to install an OS on my spare HD and use that. :\

And if they sing good songs people only like the version they heard on Glee, instead of the real version someone actually put effort into.

Well, frankly it's a POS.

HP Pavilion a720n
AMD Athlon XP 3200+ 2.20 GHz
With about 1GB of RAM.

It was capable of playing Java games the last time I tried.

Tech Support / Halp: Java is brokes
December 14, 2010, 09:53:27 PM
After about 8 months of being gone I finally want to try Blitz. During those 8 months, however, I have not used anything that requires Java. So today I update Java, JRE, and JDK. After everything seems all nice and updated I go download the cache and try to play Blitz. The only problem is that Java is using 100% of my CPU, making it impossible to play.

To try and fix this I have tried:

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling Java.
  • Manually updating Java.
  • Reinstalling JDK.
  • Ending every unnecessary process except Firefox and Java.
  • Trying the downloadable client.
  • ?
  • Profit.
Nothing seems to work. Help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you died and lost your money or something like that. Either way AllGoFree will not replace any lost items.

I think it's illegal too. But Zack is like "No! It's not illegal dumb fool!"  :-X
Jail breaking a Ipod/Iphone is illegal because your getting free music and applications that some people pay up to 12 dollars on.

You can free get music without Jailbreaking. -.- You can get it on any MP3. If people don't want to jailbreak then don't post here.
