The lost scythe

P.S (finding this npc was a b*tch because I couldn’t remember his name but I remember always getting a few laughs out of him. He makes appearances on rare occasions or in special places. I mostly found him in the party rooms. His npc I.D is 3805)
Part 1

Postie pete: Hay you kid, come over here!
Player: Who… me?
Postie pete: Did I stutter!? Kid I need your help.
Player: Yea sure, what is it?
Postie pete: If I say, you must promise to help and not tell anyone.
Option
No thanks, I’ll be on my way. >    And… what would the problem be?
Player: No thanks, I’ll be on my way.
(terminates chat)

[if choosing option B]
Player: And… what would the problem be?
Postie pete: I lost Grim’s scythe…
Player: And why should I be concerned.
Postie pete: Well you should be CONCERNED because
Postie pete: if I don’t get it back in time, Zamorak will unleash
Postie pete: all his monsters upon Runescape!
Player: Ok that’s why I should be concerned…
Postie pete: Oh I’m in so much trouble, once Grim finds out
Postie pete: oh man.. oh man.. I’ll be cleaning up the underworld
Postie pete: for century’s. Like seriously once Grim get’s done with
Postie pete: using the bathroom it is just terrible.
Player: What about the world ultimate destruction.
Postie pete: well… that too but man Grim’s bathroom is just….
Player: Ok, ok.. I get it. He has some… problems.
Player: By the way, how did you come across Grim’s scythe anyways?
Postie pete: Well he offered me a high position if I were to
Postie pete: deliver it safely to his scythe shiner.
Player: Your telling me, all this is happening, because he wanted
Player: to get his scythe “polished”.
Postie pete: woah… woah… that guy has some mad polishing skills.
Player: Ok, whatever I don’t want to get into it with you. Just tell me where
Player: to look first and I will be on my way.
Postie pete: Well this might sound a little strange but I got jumped
Postie pete: by little kids.
Player: Your kidding….
Postie pete: yeah um, apparently they said it was really shiny and that
Postie pete: they wanted it.
Player: (facepalm)
Postie pete: Hay they hit hard! Plus I’m not exactly the most masculine type.
Player: Ok, where did you get jumped.
Postie pete: Over by Camelot near the party room. They should still be there.
Player: Ok, don’t get jumped by more kids when I’m gone.
Postie pete: Hay man, they were ferocious. You should see the arms on those kids.
(chat ends)

Step 2(you go to cammy and somewhere near by you will find the kids.)
Kid 1: Hay give it back, I had it first!
Kid 2: Come on, I was the one who thought of it!
Player: hay, did you guys happen to come by a little skeleton
Player: carrying a large shiny pointy thing by any chance?
Kid 2: No, but if I did, I wouldn’t give it to you.
Kid 1: What do you mean YOU won’t give it to him, I found it first!
Kid 2: No, I told you. I thought of it and whoever thinks it, gets it.
Player: So you have seen it then?
Kid 1: Yes, but you aren’t getting it!
Player: Well maybe we can make some sort of deal then?
Kid 2: I want something too! Not just him.
Kid 1: You got to play with the toy longer! So you don’t get anything!
Player: Ok, ok… I will get you both something. Just tell me what you want,
Player: and I will make it happen.
Kid 1: Well… I really wanted this new toy train but only one person in
Kid 1: all of Runescape has it and I don’t think he would be willing to give it up.
Player: Ok, what is his name?
Kid 1: I’m not sure but I know he lives somewhere in draynor.
Player: Ok, I will look into it.
Kid 2: Don’t forget about me!
Player: Ah yes, what did you say you wanted?
Kid 2: I want what he wants!!
Player: Whatever floats your boat kid.
Kid 1: hay I wanted that first!
Kid 2: No I thought of it first!
Player: I’m just going to leave you two alone.
(ends chat)

Step 3
(You go into the wise old mans house to confront him)

Wise old man: Chooo choooo! Come on steamer we gotta get to varrock!
Player: Uhm… shouldn’t you be destroying stuff….
Wise old man: OHHH uhmm… yes… urr… I was just testing out a new weapon
Wise old man: of mass destruction.
Player: I saw you playing with a toy train….
Wise old man: WHAAT…. Pffft.. nooo, that was just uh…
Player: I already know it’s a toy train, just hand it over so you can make some
Player: Little kids happy alright?
Wise old man: You’re telling me, to give up my fav… I mean naphews toy
Wise old man: so that I can make a few kids happy?
Wise old man: BWAHAHAHHAHA. Your insane kid.
Player: Why does everyone keep calling me kid?
Wise old man: Because we are to lazy to pronounce your full name.
Player: …
Wise old man: Whatever, I’m just going to kill you for threatening me.
Player: But, I didn’t even threaten you…
Wise old man: Well you saw me playing with my toy and that’s good enough for me!
(level whatever wise old man attacks you and after killing him you pick up the toy train)
Part 3
(you head back to the kids in Camelot to confront them about the scythe again)

Player: hay kids I got your stupid train.
Kid 1: It’s not stupid!
Kid 2: Yeah why would you say that!
Player: look just give me the scythe and I will be going…
Kid 2: Yea… that’s the problem.
Player: What do you mean by problem?
Kid 1: Well we sorta lost it.
Player: You lost the Scy… I mean toy!?
Kid 2: we are really sorry mister, honestly.
Kid 2: If it helps we were playing over by the spooky castle.
Player: You mean all the way down in draynor!?
Player: How did you even get all the way over there in the first place?
Kid 1: Well we know our way around places.
Player: Here’s your guys stupid toy.
(chat ends)

Part 4
(after heading to draynor you see a mysterious man at the front of the castle and approach him)
Player: Hay, have you seen a shiny thing around here by any chance?
Mysterious man: What’s it to ya?
Player: I need it for a friend of mine.
Mysterious man: I’m not giving it up.
Player: Dude just give me the toy please I have been running around everwhere.
Mysterious man: No, you can go find another.
(chat ends)

(the player must then pickpocket the scythe from the mysterious man in order to continue. You then head back to postie pete in order to complete the quest)

part 5
Player: I found the scythe.
Postie pete: Oh thank you (playername here)! I’m so glad you found it.
(grim reaper then appears behind postie pete)
Player: Oh… hay Grim. Nice to see you. Wow your clothes just look dashing today.
Grim reaper: So I heard my scythe was missing. Postie I thought I could trust you…
Postie pete: I was heading straight there honest! It’s just those damn kids…
Grim reaper: You mean to say KIDS did this to you?
Player: That’s exactly what I was thinking…
Postie pete: Well these kids were like humongous and scary.
Grim reaper: You live in the UNDERWORLD and you mean to tell me that these
Grim reaper: Kids were SCARY!?
Postie pete: well… yea…
Grim reaper: Save it, your cleaning the crypts for 50 years.
Postie pete: Oh wonderful…. Well thanks anyways for your help.
Grim reaper: Yes, thank you (playername here) you truly did save Runescape.
Postie pete: Looks like I’m not getting that promotion.
Grim reaper: Oh no you aren’t.
Grim reaper: Oh, I almost forgot, here is a little something for helping out.
(grim reaper gives you a copy of  his scythe)

I wouldn't focus on the prices as they have changed quite a bit.

4.would killing dragons for their bones be the best way to train prayer, or can i kill the jogres for jogre bones if there are any.
Ask around for ogre bones, you need around 13k of them for 135.

5.does using the bones on a altar work? No.




For people who answer these questions i truly am grateful because there seems to be a ton of "zero fucks given" when it comes to asking questions i guess.

1.Are there rares? If so, where can they be obtained and (if known) what are their drop chances.
2.What skills are working atm
