So, I was on the MoparScape forums, and this one topic I've been posting on has really gotten me interesting and wondering. It has to do with the Universe, how it was formed, etc.

The conversation that interested me starts on page 3 where RuneFreak10 (Me) made the post. Read that post and read on from there.
http://www.moparscape.org/smf/index.php/topic,400064.40.html

This has just gotten me very interested and I'd really like to have people's opinions on how the Universe started, why you think we're all here, what you believe is out there, and what was the point of everything and all of this.

Here's a little something I said:

Guys, you have to think, not everything you are told is correct. Alot of science things are just (clever, and most probably correct) guesses. Nobody knows the size of the universe, or what an atom looks like. We can't tell how many universes there are, or how it started/will end. These things are currently impossible to truly know.

Hmmm.... That is true. Here's something to think about; we're constantly asking questions about the universe, how it was made, what it's here for, what was before it, the formation of stars, etc. And, apparently, we're all supposedly made of stars, yes? (Link here about that: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080201000521AAGAe4E)

So really, if we're made out of stars, and there's all these questions about how the universe came about and such, then why don't we all know automatically know already how the universe was formed? Are all of these questions just us questioning ourselves?

Post here your opinions and thoughts on all of this. I'd really love to hear them!! :)

Hello Pkers of WorldScape!

This board is here for all of you that want to create and start a clan, or just simply join one. What a clan is is it's a group of people that was formed by a person, or other people, that do things such as hold events, drop parties, or simply just pking. Clans are one of the biggest parts of WorldScape today. Almost everyone that plays is in some sort of clan.

Lately, there have been some problems in this board that I have come upon such as:

  • Lots of spam (Through my eyes is understandable, most people don't realize it in this section)
  • Double-posting
  • Flaming; clan members or owners posting on other clans saying their clan is better or they suck
  • People making clans, then a week later, stop their clan which leaves useless topics in this board
  • People posting on clans that aren't applying or joining that clan
  • People leaving clans, then ask to re-join and they get mad when they can't come back
  • Clans that show no detail in their post and they just say "I'm starting a clan called noob pkz. Post to join!"
That is a list of problems that occur in this board that need to stop. To do that, some new rules and requirements must be set in stone for this board.
-----

If you plan to create a clan and make a new topic about it, then your first post must contain detail, including the positions in your clan. If you just make a topic saying "join my clan it's new.", then that doesn't show that you're serious about your clan and that you don't care, and it will just be dealt with as spam that way. If you don't give detail, your topic will be locked without reason and/or probably removed. You may, however, post it, give some detail like requirements, events, etc., then say you will be posting more detail later if you just don't have the time at the moment. Of course, you'll eventually have to come back to it later. For a very good example of a detailed clan topic, click here. A lot of topics in this board already have made a topic creating a clan, a week or two later, stop their clan completely. This is causing the front page to be spammed with dead clans that aren't ever used. So please, only if you are 100% sure and serious that you want the responsibility of creating a clan, then you may create a clan.
Note that any existing topics that have no detail may receive a warning, if not, will be locked. Any topics where the clan was only alive for a short period of time will be locked, if not, deleted.

If you don't want to make a clan yourself, but you are interested in joining one, then some requirements come of that also. Applying for a clan isn't posting something like this:
QuoteHi I want to join your clan because I'm a good pker and I have high levels.
If you post on a clan topic saying that, that's not giving any information whatsoever and it will be dealt with as spam. If that occurs, your post will be removed. If it continues, you will be warned. If the clan you are applying for is a pking clan, then you must post the appropriate skills their clan will be using. For example, if your clan is a maging clan, obviously strength and attack wouldn't be necessary for that clan, so you would maybe apply some way like this:
QuoteName: Bill
Combat level: 165
Magic Level: 135
Hitpoints Level: 130
Reason for applying: I believe my magic level is high enough to be accepted in this clan. I like the clan and I respect the people in it, so that is why I'm applying.
You may want to give a reason why you are joining that clan because it may up your chances of being accepted. If you're applying for a clan where they use weapons such as dragon daggers, dragon scimitars, etc., then you may want to apply for it like this:
QuoteName: Bill
Combat level: 165
Attack Level: 130
Strength Level: 130
Defence Level: 130
Hitpoints Level: 130
Reason for applying: I believe my strength and attack levels are high enough to be accepted in this clan. I like the clan and I respect the people in it, so that is why I'm applying.
If their clan includes ranging, you would also add the following:
QuoteRanged Level: 128
If you are applying for a clan, then I expect to see an application including something similar to that format, unless the clan you are applying for sees their format and requests differently. Think of this format I have provided for you as the default format required for every clan. If the clan you're applying for doesn't have a specific requested format they go by, then use the following format below: (You may just copy and paste this to use it)

QuoteName:
Combat Level:
Attack Level:
Strength Level:
Defence Level:
Hitpoints Level:
Ranged Level:
Magic Level:
Prayer Level:
Reason for applying:
If the clan you're applying for has a specific format they request, then you must use their format, and the one above will not be needed. If you want to create a clan, it doesn't specifically have to be a pking clan. You are allowed to make your clan for anything you wish, whether it's a drop party clan, a clan where you play games, or just something as simple as a clan for outfits only. Any idea for a clan is permitted.

The only times you are allowed to post on a clan topic, and this includes the owner of the clan, is when a member is applying for the clan, you have any questions regarding the clan, or if you are accepting or declining someone. Anything else posted in this board that is not what I have just stated will receive a warning. If it continues, a mute will be actioned. If you have accepted a player that has applied for joining your clan, then you are allowed to reply saying "Bill, you have been accepted." Same goes for declining someone. If you are declined, you are not permitted to repost on their clan topic saying "Why was I declined? My levels are high." If you have questions regarding why you were declined, private message the owner of the clan. I'm sure they'll be happy to let you know. Applying for the same clan again is allowed, but if you plan on doing that, then your levels must have had a very big increase. You do not have to modify your first application. You are allowed to post a completely different one. I realize what I have just said cuts all conversation out of clan topics, but that is what the Clans Discussion board is for. The Clans Discussion board is rarely ever used, because all of the conversation, or discussion, goes on in this board. Well that's not what this board is for and it is considered spam when you do so. This board is for recruiting, or in other words, getting together a clan. Making small posts such as "Bill is now a member!" is also spam. Please do not post things like that. If you want to announce that Bill is part of your clan now, it would make much more sense to modify your first post and add Bill's name in it. That or posting it in the Clans Discussions board would make most sense. So that needs to stop, as well as posts like "There's going to be an event soon." or "This post is to bump my topic." Spam spam and more spam! If you are holding an event, you would also post this in the Clans Discussion board, or simply modify your first post. The next thing I would clarify would be double-posting in this board, but if you follow everything said above, then there would never be double-posting taking place. Creating topics such as "Hi I'm Bill and I want to join a clan! Reply if I can join!" if also not permitted. Even if you include all of your stats in the format I have provided, it is still not allowed. The only way you may be in a clan is if you are creating one yourself, or if you apply for one. Making topics asking if you can be in clans is not allowed in the Clans Recruitment section. It may be allowed in the Clans Discussions board, but that depends on the degree of the post. Making separate topics advertising your clan saying "Everyone, go look at my clan topic it's really cool and I need more people in my clan." is not permitted either. If you wish to advertise your clan, this may be done in the Clans Discussion board.

Posting on other clan owner's topics saying your clan is nooby, your clan sucks, our clan will beat your clan, etc. is considered spamming and flaming and you will receive a warning for your actions. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated. If someone wants to make a clan, just leave them alone. I always say this; it's okay if you have an opinion, everyone has a right to one, but keep it to yourself. Any sort of fighting whatsoever should be taken to the wilderness, which is the most logical place anyways. If you're in a clan that you wish not to be a part of anymore, posting on it saying "I'm quitting this clan" or "I'm quitting this clan because I'm making my own k bye." is not permitted and is also spam. All it takes is to simply private message the owner of the clan letting him know you do not want to be a part of their clan anymore. Now, what I can see happening, and it has, is people making their own clans, their clan never succeeded, and they ask the owner of the last clan they were in if they can come back and rejoin. This happens all the time and it seems like something that happens often. If you want to rejoin, don't post on the topic asking, private message the owner. Most of the time, the owner says no because they feel they were betrayed by your choices. Then the player that wants to come back can't and they get very mad and upset. Well from the owner's perspective, you can see why they don't want you back anymore. You left their clan to either create your own clan or join another clan. So if they say no, there is to be no flaming or questions asked. Just simply move on and deal with it, and maybe a few weeks or months later, reapply for their clan. So before you think about quitting a clan you're in, think twice, as I have just brought up some very good points to you.

This pretty much covers everything I have been wanting to say for the past couple of weeks. I understand everything I just said not to do has already been done in this board, like dead clan topics, lots of spam and double posting, people saying their quitting the clans, and I obviously won't be able to delete all of the spam, but I will be looking into clan topics in this section a lot more and keeping an eye on these topics, as well should the other Forum Moderators. And as I bring up again the Clans Discussions page, I ask you to start using that board and direct any conversation whatsoever to there. Again, this board is not for conversation, it is for grouping and recruiting your clan. That board has been provided for each and every one of you and it's not used enough.

Summary: So basically only post if you're applying for a clan or you're accepting or declining someone. All conversation goes in the Clans Discussion board. Anything else posted, your post will be removed. If it continues, you'll receive a warning for not following this post. Put detail into your clan topic or else it will be locked or removed. Don't make a clan unless you're sure you really want to, because most the time the clan will die, which will leave a useless topic. Anything else that isn't an application or isn't a question should be private messaged to the owner of the clan.

Good luck on your clans everyone and thank you for reading! :)
Best of luck out there in the wilderness!

~Bill

Forum Games / ~The Ctrl+V Game~
September 16, 2009, 12:13:30 AM
Bill has another forum gamez0r. :o

~The Ctrl+V Game~

How it works

Pretty much what it says. For any of you that don't know for some reason what Ctrl+V is, it's pasting what you have copied. Pretty much a common sense game, I just want to see exactly what people have copied because it's interesting. After you paste it, give a reason why that was copied in the first place. :)

Rules

Pretty much your basic forum rules. Nothing much, except if your thing you're pasting could be potentially offensive (racist or sexist slurs or remarks, etc.) I'd highly recommend you not to post it, as the regular forum rules still apply to this board.

  • Nothing racist or sexist. (as mentioned above)
  • No posting other server IPs, names of other servers, or anything related to other servers, even if that's your last copied thing.

Use common sense while posting. Meaning if you have a link copied that is a pornographic picture, it would be common sense not to post that, even if that's not included in the rules above.

I would post what I have copied, but I don't have anything copied because I'm posting this from my iTouch.

Let the pasting begin! :D

Forum Games / What Would You Do For A Million Dollars?
September 02, 2009, 11:54:02 PM
Well, it's been quite a while wince I created a forum game on here. So here we go.

The point of this game is to just think of the most random, dangerous, painful, or just down right stupidest things you would do for a million dollars.

Here's how this game works;

I will start it off and the person who replies will either have to say yes they would or no they wouldn't and possibly give a reason why, then ask another question to keep it going. If someone has already answered the last question and another one is already asked, you are allowed to answer it if you want to, but if you do, you can't ask a question if there's already one out there that hasn't been answered. Okay, here's the first one:

Would you put a toothpick underneath your toenail and kick a soccer ball as hard as you can for a million dollars?

General (OT) / Ryan's Language
August 24, 2009, 06:36:22 AM
For all of these long years I've known Ryan, I've noticed something. Ryan's language is a little different than most people's. Ryan's language is basically what I would like to call 'smiley face language'. 99.9999999999% of the time you talk to Ryan, he usually will just respond to you with a smiley face, and frankly from knowing him for so long, it's really funny that I can observe, assess, and identify what he means when he throws a smiley face at your face.

Ryan's smiley faces can be quite humorous sometimes. If he throws a smiley face at you, it either means he's excited and hyper, he wants to small-talk with you, and only small-talk, he's saying "Yeah yeah, okay, whatever." or he's just plain saying "Just leave me alone, I'm freakin' busy right now."

I will identify each smiley he uses and tell you what they mean:
(Everything I talk about I have experienced and been through with Ryan. Whatever I say below, I have done, felt, or thought.)

:) - This means you're right, yes, or you just did something very good that you will never know what it was.

:D - This means something cool just happened or he just did something really amazing with Classic/Blitz. If that is the case, you will tend to ask him what he did and he will follow your question up with a response and a mumbo-jumbo of words that you better be ready to dance with, but never are, and you will never in your life understand, and I'm not even sure if Ryan does himself.

xD/XD - This means something funny or completely epic just happened. Everyone else would laugh or put lol, rofl, or lmao, but Ryan instead will put this smiley face. If you ever see Ryan put this smiley face, then congratulations, you just caught him at the best time EVER! It's safe to say that... You win.

:( - This means a couple of things. You're trying to make Ryan upset with telling him a story or something that happened. For example, if you tell Ryan you died in WorldScape to a glitch and you lost your items, or you lost all of your rares in the trading glitch. This is Ryan's way of saying "Well that just sucks, I'm not going to do anything about it, because I don't want to and I shouldn't have to seeing as it happens all the time." When he puts that smiley, it shows expression, but only on the internet, meaning when he puts it, it appears that he is sad with you, when really, he's sitting behind his computer with the straightest face in the world. He'll put that smiley face to get out of a sticky situation, and the funniest part about it is... It actually works for him. This can also mean "No, I'm sorry." or "Too bad."

:\ - The :[ pretty much applies everything about this smiley. It can also mean "Ehh...". Not much to this one I would say.

O.O - This is the most common one used by Ryan and my favorite one I would say. This face to Ryan means that he just struck oil. Something awesome just came up or happened or this smiley face says "What if I did this?" or "Guess what I did? You won't guess! You won't guess!". This can also mean "Oh really?" or "Hey, take a look at this." in some situations.

X.X - This is an easy one. This means he either broke something in the server/client, or it's saying "Crap!" On rare occasions, he'll use this smiley face right after he says "Kk I going to sleepz."

-.- - This means you are personally going to be upset because he's mad at someone/something else completely unrelated and irrelevant to you. Ryan hasn't really used this face much in my past experience with him, so there's not much to say here. If he EVER uses this face to direct it toward you showing he's mad at you, then you are screwed.

;) - This means you're going to get something, or completely make you think you are by tricking you. He'll make this face and it will make you smile from behind your computer, but then nothing else really happens afterward. If you're talking to him on WorldScape, Skype, etc. and he makes this face, it will make you wonder and you will just keep scrolling up to see it and say to yourself "Why? What does that mean?" Well, congratulations, now you know what it means.

:O - This means you just told Ryan something that you think is really cool, amazing, funny, etc. and he could not possibly care any less. He'll use this smiley face to move on and proceed with his life. Example, if you send him a YouTube video on Skype and he responds back with this smiley, it means "Hey... 99% says I am not going to watch this video, but I'll bear with him and just send him a smiley face just to get his/her hopes up." This could also mean he just added something into Blitz that completely matters to him, but doesn't really make much sense to anyone else if he tried explaining it to you. You'll ask him and sometimes, he'll chuck 120 messages at you that you will probably not read, or read them and not comprehend them one bit. Any of that.. Or he's just hungry or something...

:'( - This means he does not care. Pretty much everything in :( means this, but with the little tear to attempt to add more emotion, but it just does not happen with Ryan ever. Again, he will say this and sit behind his computer with a straight face saying "K, whatever."

Well, now you know what Ryan means when he puts smiley faces. Anyone who reads this, I bet for now on every time you see Ryan make a smiley face, you'll remember this post and/or come back to this post to define what Ryan just said to you. Post your comments, I'd love to hear them. ;)

I may be editing the post from time-to-time, revising definitions, adding more, etc. So keep checking back.

Happy WorldScaping,
-Bill

General (WS) / How To Become A Player Moderator
August 11, 2009, 03:02:50 PM
So you've decided you want to be a Player Moderator for All-Go-Free, huh? :)

Being a Player Moderator for All-Go-Free is way more than just being nice, giving new players items, and playing for a long time. Lots of people seem to think that's all you really have to do to become a Player Moderator. There is so much more to being a Player Mod than what meets the eye. People tend to think that being a Player Mod is just all fun and games; it's not. You should think of the title as a Player Mod as the title of a real job. It may be just a game, but being a Player Mod can teach discipline and rules and set boundaries for real people. Ry60003333, Bill, and the rest of the All-Go-Free's Staff's goals are to make this game better, more popular, and more enjoyable for all of the players; even the Staff itself. With The Development team hard at work, All-Go-Free hopes to prosper forward in the future and make this game one of the most dominating games in all of the private server industry. With such a title the Player Mod team has to be one-of-a-kind and professional.

To do this, the All-Go-Free team needs to find players that are worthy to the game, loyal, and most important of all, respectful. If you cannot do those things, then you will never qualify for Mod. You must be respectful to all of the players, the Staff Team, the Owners, the forums, and the game itself, and behave in such a mature manner. Doing this will get you on our good side, but we will never guarantee you a Mod-ship if you do that. There are more things that come along with this, such as your history with the game, meaning if you have had any punishments in the past, bad records, basically like a police record, only downsized into a game, or any traces or signs of you misleading us in any way. You still think you are so far qualifying for a Mod-ship? Well think again, because there is more.

With all that, also comes you needing proper grammar. No chatspeak, such as "u" "r" "2" "c" etc. Using those will only make it very much harder to read what you are trying to say. Things like "Idk" "Brb" "G2g" "Bbl" etc. are allowed and do not count as chatspeak. Using punctuation is also suggested, such as "don't" "won't" "wouldn't" etc. Now, proper grammar may not come off as a necessity, but it will definitely help you. You still think that's it? Not even close.

Doing things such as offering to buy Moderator, or bribe your way into getting it will only lower your chances of getting it severely and dramatically, and also may result in a punishment. Never do that, as all that will come from it are bad things and a very low respect level.

Please note to never ask to be a Mod. Always remember this; The Staff comes to the players, the players never come to the Staff. Becoming a Moderator is something that should come naturally, not pushed by asking for it or making topics on the forums about it. This will also only lower your chances of becoming a Mod. Also, never tell a friend to put a 'word' in for you about it, meaning don't ever say to anyone "Help me become a Mod" or "Tell the owner that I should be Mod." Again, this will also lower your chances for it. We need very mature players for the job, and if you cannot meet each and every one of these requirements I have said above, do not even bother thinking once of becoming a Mod. If you do meet each and every one of these requirements, and you truly, naturally do, you will be contacted by either Ry60003333 or Bill.

Important TIP: When posting on the forums and making your name better known within the community also increases your chance to become a Player Mod greatly. By posting and participating on the forums you display a true desire to help out the community in positive ways. So keep this tip in mind! - Avery.

Here is a previous post I had made back before I was part of the All-Go-Free Staff Team.

Quote from: Bill on December 14, 2008, 11:57:19 PM
Do not post anything asking or "suggesting" for Moderator. People can be so ridiculous sometimes. NEVER think you will become a Moderator on Worldscape just because you're "nice" or "friendly" or you give away items to new players and "greet" them. There is so much more to being a Moderator than just "being friendly" and especially on a game like Worldscape. To get another thing straight, "time" playing this server does not effect your chances at all to become a Moderator. People think just because they have played Worldscape for a year that they will become an Moderator and even an Admin sometimes. I just read what they say, think about it, and just laugh. Listen to this. I have played Worldscape for almost 2 and a half years. Look at me. Where am I? I was an Admin 2 years ago, but that was when they never controlled the amount of Moderators and Admins. Two years ago you could ask for Admin and get it with no problem. It's 100% not like that anymore. It hasn't been that way for a good year and a half. Do not think I am an Admin now because I am not. I am not part of staff at all. Anyways, you don't get Moderator by the amount of time you play, you get Moderator for showing respect, respect the players, respect the Moderators, respect the forums, respect the staff members, respect Worldscape. If you're reading this, scroll down for a second and take a look at my signature. What does it say? "~Always Respect~" That's what you have to do in a game like Worldscape. Now I'm not guaranteeing anyone that if you respect you'll get Moderator. In fact, this whole thing is based on my opinion. I'm not with the staff at all. I wouldn't know for a fact what they're looking for. I'm just saying it will probably up your chances. I have known these people for such a long time, so it's safe to say that you show them respect and you'll get respect in return, and making threads asking or bribing for Moderator... Well, not so much showing respect there is it?
~~~~~
Good luck. I wish the best of luck to everyone and I hope to see you on the team in the future. ;)
Regards,
~Bill.
Videos / An Epic Day In WorldScape
August 11, 2009, 08:41:24 AM
Here is a video that was made on August 11th, 2009 at like 5 in the morning lol. It's Ryan, Dillon, and Me having some fun :D Some people may say it's a little too crazy and overboard, but I beg to differ. :)
This day was very fun for me and I enjoyed it because it reminded me so much of the old WorldScape and the old ~All-Go-Free~ back in 2006/2007 with Ryan. I got to live in the past for one night, and it honestly was very important to me because I miss the good old days of ~All-Go-Free~ so much. ~All-Go-Free~ these days is much more professional now, and back then it was just all fun in games and you could do whatever you felt like with no rules or boundaries. Don't get me wrong, I love the new ~All-Go-Free~, it's like a part of my main life. In fact, being more professional is way very more important, but I was very happy to live in the past just one more night and laugh and remember how it felt like.
So I want to thank you Ryan for letting this happen, it was very fun and that's why this whole video I will be dedicating to you and ~All-Go-Free~'s past. Thanks, bro. ;)
