I saw someone earlier wanting help with playing WS on Linux but no one could help him because no one knew what to do. So here's a simple enough guide on how to get WS working on Linux.

How to get WS running in Linux using the downloadable client:
Step 1: Install OpenJDK jre and Sun jre using the sudo line below. One version tends to work better than the other on some systems.
sudo apt-get install openjdk-6-jre sun-java6-jre

Step 2: Download the WS client here.

Step 3: Extract the client somewhere.

Step 4: Open the client using either OpenJDK or Sun. (If you get stuck on unpacking media try the other one.)

Step 5: After the game has successfully downloaded log in and enjoy!

If you continue to have problems even after trying a different jre try the steps below:
Step 1: Go to /home/user and delete the folder named 'allgofree'

Step 2: Show hidden files in your file manager by pressing ctrl + h or going under the view menu.

Step 3: Delete the hidden folder named '.allgofree'

Note: Steps in the guide may vary depending on your file manager, or lack thereof.
