I'm kinda confused. when you kill someone in wildy and loot someone is it against the rules? Or just rude?

As long as it's not a fun fight you can loot.

You can loot in a fun fight. You can loot anyone even if you don't kill them. If you do then you might not be liked as much. The wildy is made that way for a reason.
