Title: AFK command?
Post by: Grievous on December 13, 2012, 02:51:31 PM
eeing as 90% of the time there are always people AFK, maybe a ::afk command would be in place? It would keep you logged in and when you come back type the command again to play.

There is no idle logout in wodscape. I don't really see a point in it. When I ran other servers that had this it was abused.

Oh, how can you abuse it? It would be nice to identify real players from AFK ones. They would maybe have a little logo over their head that says "AFK" or something. Saves people asking.

Back when we did have idle logout, we had the ::sit command which is still there :-)

There's no need... You stay logged in anyways.

It's not to stay logged in? It's to show other people that you're afk, with something like a "AFK" sign above the players head.

They don't say anything though, If you're taking about the kitten anyway.

People will notice you're afk when you don't reply.  8)

We already have an AFK command that can be used by Moderators and Administrators in-game, it spawns an Npc behind you randomly from a list of pre-defined Npcs that will repeat whatever message you put after the ::afk command. ::)
