I guess, but quests are a "one time thing", once you've done it, it's completed. The reward needs to be balanced too, because people could make new account if it's good, and if it's not good, I doubt many people will even bother with it.

Not trying to be negative, because updates in general = more active players.

I mean, do they really have to? If anything, add new rares, it's unfair to the people who've worked hard for them.

Good idea, but please don't ruin rares, if anything make them drop good-cheap pking gear? (Barrow gloves, fighter torso)

Making a good, enjoyable quest isn't easy. I just think that people would finish off quests way to fast, and it'd be dead content pretty quickly.

I just think it'd be good for a change to get some new items that people could "work" for. I know for myself that one of the reasons that I'm still playing RS is to accomplish that 10 year veteran cape. I just think in general we need to bring in more items that has a purpose and more rares.

I'm not dying for this idea, I just thought that if it's not too much work it could be a decent addition to the game. In general I just think we need to think fresh, and not think that change (this is a rather small one) is bad. I'd would be fun to get a reply from the admins, so they can answer how hard it would be/if it's even do-able.

I hope more people can suggest small, fresh updates, so the people that play this game have something to work for. In my opinion, we're a small community, so adding something like "Pest-control" or "Soul Wars" would be a waste of time.

Idk, maybe we should get a response from Ry or Kevin, that knows how to do this kind of stuff, instead of drawing conclusions?

Haha, that'd be cool. Slayer is like the only skill I haven't really trained yet. If someone wants to give me 500M so I can finish off my account that would be awesome (sarcastic).

@Rory - I think the admins have the power to find out how long someone has had they're account for.

I'm not saying this because I consider myself a "veteran", I've only been here for a few years. I just think it would be healthy for the community if older players would be recognized. I don't really see how an item, that has no affect on in-game play, could be damaging for other players.

I suggested this because I think that updates and new items are healthy for the game, even small updates.

It doesn't have to be like a 3-5-7 thing, it could be capes ranging from 1 - 10 years, or whatever.

I guess, any item in general (wear-able). Not really about the item, but to show off your accomplishment as a loyal player.
