We've all had the issue where your client kicks you off and your account is still logged in and you're left online unable to kick it because no moderators are online.
How about if we add a feature where you can kick your own account through the forums.
I made this to explain sortof what I though it would look like.

It's not help if you can do it yourself, Under actions or its own tab entirely.
Definitely should be under Profile if it does get implemented. Most relevant as it's to do with your profile..?

But wouldn't that mean they'd have to edit the whole profile tab? I don't think they can just code something up and put it there. :(

Yeah they can. SMF allows it pretty easily. Making it actually kick you in-game would be the tricky part, but Ryan's added things way more difficult. I think it's a clever idea but would probably be pretty low priority on the massive to-do list lol.
It can't be too difficult for him, would it not be similar to the movetolumby link?

It would have to cut your connection to the game, rather than change 8 numbers in a character file.
It's not really hard to get him to do one thing. all we have to do is get him in a skype call and tslk about "old times".

I'm going to have to reject this suggestion. I can see a few ways that it can be abused. I understand why you guys would want it, but it can cause more harm than anything.

- Set a timer so you can only do it once pr 30 min
- have same logout requirements as in-game. (In fight, etc..)
- must match the ip as the player logged in; so if client disconnected with computer 1, computer 2 can't kick it.
- make it donors only so people can't use random accounts and spam kick. (even though i don't see why this would be a problem)
- add a timer that checks if you try to glitch it somehow; kickig account in 5..4..3..2..1..
Just name an issue and ill think of a solution
Make the kicking take 5 minutes
