I've been focusing on removing all unhealthy temptations in my life such as drugs (alcohol, cocaine, ADHD pills, LSD, nicotine [b*tch to quit], any substance that I used to take recreationally, even weed), social media (deleted Twitter, Facebook, Vine... still use snapchat but to only people I truly care about and never to my snapchat story anymore.. all of these were outlets for me to seek validation in others so I decided it was toxic for me), and no jacking off (this one may sound a bit silly but if you look up on the issue you'll find a plethora of scientific research that shows daily PMO - porn, masturbation, orgasm - leads to depleted testosterone and dopamine levels, at least in men) which all has made me feel better than I have ever felt in my entire life. I have had nearly no anxiety or depression whatsoever, I am no longer intimidated at expressing myself to other people or in the presence of strangers, have more motivation/energy throughout the day, and love myself like when I was a little kid, can actually enjoy the stupid little things I do day to day.. really just appreciating the fact that I'm living and re-recognizing the beautiful details of life. My shyness is never holding me back in any situation, and ever since I stopped jacking off my voice has been really low for the first time in years, and I come off dominant and in control. I had forgotten how much I had hated life before.
