After nine years of anguish, the family of Queensland schoolboy Daniel Morcombe have finally farewelled their son and brother.

Thousands attended a funeral to farewell the teenager nine years to the day since he disappeared while waiting for a bus to go Christmas shopping.

The 13-year-old's remains were found last year in bushland in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Daniel's family was joined by former classmates, police officers and politicians for the service at his old school, the Siena Catholic College at Sippy Downs.

The Morcombes asked people not to be sad or angry but to celebrate their son's life.

"I appeal to you all - please do not be sad," Bruce Morcombe said.

"Appreciate that the evil act that took Daniel happened a long time ago.

"Today is about embracing his return to family and being reflective of what might have been."

Mr Morcombe also paid tribute to everyone who helped in the search for his son, describing Daniel as a quiet, unassuming little boy.

"He was not an attention-seeker, yet because of his sparkling eyes and beaming smile, he is someone everyone took into their hearts," he said.

In his eulogy, Daniel's brother Dean spoke of the close bond Daniel had with his twin Bradley.

Dean Morcombe also described his younger brother's love of animals, food and motocross bikes.

"Daniel was my riding buddy - we would encourage each other to go that bit harder, higher and faster - he was tough," he said.


The only thing Daniel that was recovered of this beautiful boy was 3 bones and his shoes.   His family NEVER gave up.


9 years during his investigation and still, Daniel has allowed Australia to be safer.  As his legacy lives on so will the future of Australia.

Well, i've had this job for... almost 9 months and the past 3 months has been sh**!
My Boss put me on ROSTERED DAYS OFF (AS IN DAYS I MUST HAVE OFF WHICH ARE ASSIGNED BY MY BOSS)
I've been sick ALL week, regular hospital visits and everything.  I got sick on my days off then when i returned to work myfirst shift back was hell, i got sicker and went home late cuz the employer i worked with gave me the biggest guilt trip ever -.- but anyway
i called the boss and said i seriously cannot work, I'm coughing til i vomit stomach acid and my head is spinning so he got the shits and rudely, but very abruptly told me to "f*ck off, get a doctors certificate and dont dare walk into "his" kitchen until i have it"


SO TIRED, been contemplating leaving for 3ish months, but i quit my first job due to harassment... now my job seeker guider thinks im selfish and got me counciling.  Fml.

Today was a hard day,
Got a call at 8:13am, My friend passed away in a car accident.    I'm not dealing well, not only with that but with the whole Two servers thing. 

I just wanted to let you guys know what's going on right now so I will not play WS as much as possible, In which, I have resigned as A moderator due to time and mostly, the betrayal of the ex-members on worldscape.

And, I'm also kinda, p***ed about the skills and wanting to "reset everything" this isn't directed at anyone so don't think it is.

If we "reset" everything, we'll lose everything.  Including players, it's how we lost them all a while ago.   
I think, WHEN STAFF ISN'T BUSY we should RECRUIT PLAYERS, ADVERTISE, MAKE WORLDSCAPE A BETTER PLACE BEFORE STEPPING IN AND GOING "Oh, ryan and kevin ruined ws.. blah blah" No, that's not true.   You wouldn't be here if they ruined it!

Stop pinning everyone's problems on the Staff, they get harassed weekly by players and ex- players, they/we do not deserve more punishment when all we're doing is breakin people down.


And skills, people are leveling toooooo easy.  Making the skills challenging will bring more of a
"fight" into worldscape,  so many people are just getting max levels, showing off and PKING non stop,  Sure that's not a bad thing but.. when you really think about it, we all got our 135's no problems at all.

I recomend making skills harder to level, a little more harder to do.  By changing there whereabouts of monsters, not reducing the XP they give but making them hit harder, making the skills rate slow down.   Giving them hit's agaisnt players.  Making them rare to find.   

And giving more monster spots.  That's not hard to do, spawn some freakin' demons in edgeville or something! limit the monsters in-game by making more range of options.

And when new skills come out, give them hard xp, low xp but equal xp which can take about 1 month to get 135.
