Thousands choose to fight
They fight for your every right.
Life as we know would cease to exist,
If not for their courageous souls.
You run the mile,
Cursing those who make you
He runs a mile
Dodging bullets and bombs
Knowing he might not make it
All he has to say is,
?Tell my wife and children,
I love them.?
You go home to lie in bed
Dreaming of your wants and wishes
While he retreats from war
With your freedom in sight.
This is yet another poem I wrote for school.

I do not like the ryming scheme - you could have simply put none. Same for the rythme.
Yet the content is of course wonderful - common, but wonderful. :D
I voted excellent because it's excellent.
Your very good at making poems I like it. :)
