since black is not smithable it could be a rare, so what's the thing. i just found a black kiteshield.

since you got it no.. because the only way you could of got it is by buying it or killing a monster therefore its not rare if jeremy or ry gave it to you it could be..
An Npc drops it, I forget witch one it is.
