I need help, my sister's friend's macbook has a whitescreen of death (with folder with a question mark)

and now i need help finding out how to repair.

any mac users found a solution to this problem, pl0x for answers and my sister's friend will rep me. :)

This following procedure is very safe to follow on, and is compatible with Windows 7, Vista or XP.

What makes your computer slow? It vary on different PCs. Different RAM sizes may vary performance.

Step 1: Spend a little bit more money on electricity.

Head over to Power Options settings (Laptops: click the battery icon in the system tray [bottom right])(PC Desktops: Start>Control Panel>Power Options)
You will see a variety of power plans, (High Performance will use more battery, more power being drained)(Power Saver will make you lag a bit, but last your battery time for longer period of time.



Step 2: Start up taking too long.

If brought a laptop, you may discover how much softwares they install? Recommending the laptop to run at start up.

Win7/Vista:
search: "Msconfig"

XP: start>run>Msconfig



now, you will see small dialog with tabs, select start up tab.

You will see a bunch of checked item.

Take your time unchecking the useless ones that take up memory thus making start up boot longer.
Beware: look at the directory options and search if they happen to be located in "c:/windows" directory, DO NOT UNCHECK.

When travelling overseas, (i would like to go to new zealand), i want to take my laptop with me, but problem is are they going to check it?

I know they x-ray em, but do they scan the harddrives, (i would realy want to know the the internet history) do they check the internet history

I was playing AFL with my mates for sport, we used to play it with oztag on the hip. now we can tackle

i always wanted tackle for sport, so i liked it. then there was some dirty players. i had the ball, 1 was pulling my shirt. and 1 was doing an edge (from wwe) spear (finishing move) on my on my head and neck. the game stopped cause of it. that that all 4 groups had 4 injuries...

It was hell. I cant move my neck or my body since the spine sends the message to the body from the brain.. i dont want to see a doctor, beside anyway it was too late. so i had to get a pillow and some scarf and put the pillow around my neck and the scarf to hold the pillow in place..

i didn't like it.

I'm requesting an IP-Ban for those admin who have ip-banning powers.

I have quitted about 3 months ago or less, but I am getting a feeling to come back (so I fought it back and wrote this.)

I think the world is going to end in 2012 too. I know it's a bit late for this but due to some weather and accidents in my city, it's getting more and more dangerous.

The world might end in many different way at the same time, for example.

Tornadoes, cyclones, very heavy wind-rain, billions of storm.
The atmosphere getting destroyed by power plants smoke therefore making the sun enter earth cause global warming.
Buildings cracked up and lands broken in half, beaches causing high waves entering main roads.

As we all know in science, sun makes things bigger, therefore when sun makes things bigger it can't hold it together for example path concrete, which is why their cracking up putting tar on it.

Im guessing other countries have some weather issues in their place.


Warning people: this is a warning, weathers is just a start, wait till 2012.

If the world "will" end, then we're going to use up earth's stuff and build big submarine boats go to the deepest ocean for safe keeping (this is the only way, unless your going to figure a way to stay in the air for approximately 2 weeks. then boats is the answer)

I think this is a great way to grow the community up and get more members on the forum as the same rate as ingame. This also allows us to have active members now. since every time I look at the online page there are more guest surfing this website then members.

theres 2 knot, the farer they go, the shorter the rope and closer they are the more long they are.
