A complete reset sounds stupid to me (Not because of my levels), but with your theory, we're gonna have to open another world in a couple years because players will have a hard time getting ontop of the HS.
I support an economy reset 100%, but the rest is just jizzle to me.

Who cares if he likes Frozen or not, its a good film. Just let it go.

I don't care until he constantly talks about it and bothers everyone else about it. It's annoying.

I'd say your stupid discussions bothers me more than Ryan's obsession with frozen.

The wilderness course gives you 142875 exp pr run
Each run takes between 1minute (perfect clicks) to 1minute 20 seconds (normal)
you will have to complete the course 3223 times (calculated from 0 exp) to reach level 135.
This is 63 hours of perfect clicking. (70 seconds pr run)

Keep it like it is. I suggest we remove more items from the stores to give it a little value :)

I don't think you've gotten this yet, but worldscape items and IRL money is actually a diffirent currecy.

Yup, I've gotten that, but I don't quite understand what that has to do with whether or not this is a shortcut or not. Here, I'll do the math for you.

The $100 you paid to have the skill handed to you (quite literally, actually) would have taken about 13 hours for me to earn at my job over the summer with taxes applied. All that you need to know for that is the 13 hours.

Now, in WS right now there are 14 different herbs. Because of how little exp y

ou get from just simply cleaning the herbs we'll consider that not to be a factor at all. Of those 14 different herbs, only 5 of them are able to be used to make a potion. We'll assume that each herb has the same drop rate as the others and that overall you can expect an herb 75% of the time. It takes about 20-30 seconds to kill a shade depending largely on luck with hits. Let's use both of these times to find an expected range of time to get the herbs for 135 by killing shades.

The average experience you get per potion is going to be 17,000 exp.

60x60=3600/20=180x(3/4)=135x(5/14)=~48.2x17,000=819,643.
60x60=3600/30=120x(3/4)=90x(5/14)=~32.14x17,000=546,429.

460,504,778/819,643=~561.84
460,504,778/546,429=~842.75

Getting 135 herblore by killing shades will take you anywhere from 561 hours to 842 hours. During that time you could be working at that same job as before and earn anywhere from $4,315 to $6,483.

So in other words, it is very, very clearly a shortcut.

I know it's a shortcut, as i said before. (i think it's deleted)

But you're telling me it won't be fair unless you pay between 4,000 and 6,000 dollars?

I don't care if they buy the skill or not, that's up to them. But comparing a 20 minute walk around the lake opposed to a $1000 ride across the lake isn't anything close to comparing hundreds upon hundreds of hours of killing Shades opposed to the $100 you spent. You stretched the obscene amount smaller and the moderate amount larger. Good try, though, kid.

I don't think you've gotten this yet, but worldscape items and IRL money is actually a diffirent currecy.

Money has always been a shortcut. It is now, and it will always be.
However, 100 dollars for one skill on an inactive rsps is closer to a scam.
And krest, you are in every single argument that has been on this server ever since it was revived. It's jake's responsibility to be there.

But krest, since I find you more of a kid than anyone else here, let me help you a little.

Youre on a vacation to your cabin in the woods with your whole family. Suddenly you stumble upon a lake
Option 1: drive around the lake (20 minutes extra)
Option 2: cross the lake with a boat ($1000)

Even though option 2 is a shortcut, it's not automaticly the best option.

Any suggestions on an NPC? Should it be fairly hard to kill, or something that's rather easy?

Lots of agressive farmers!
