This isn't breaking a rule, but it's something I personally don't like. These kind of topics bug me because I actually value the respect option on these forums. To me, the higher your respect means you've made a well-known good name for yourself on the game and you're recognized and represented by everyone. You wouldn't go around asking random people to respect you. I've never once asked for one of my respect points, and you shouldn't either.
