Everybody tried his best for WS but nothing worked and now they gave up,

All three of us still care about Worldscape. For all three of us, it was our first experience with AllGoFree. It was Ryan's first server he ever created, it was Kevin's first experience with Ryan, and it was my first RSPS ever played almost 8 years ago.
That being said, yes, Worldscape has been placed on the back burner for multiple reasons:
1. Time and Energy. None of us have any enthusiasm to do any sort of programming on Worldscape. We're working very hard to release our 2.0 version of RuneRebels and that takes up 99% of our free time.
2. We're not quite sure what direction to go with it. When we added in the new bosses, there were such mixed reviews on them. This server is very hard to update with content, as we have very dedicated old school players who sometimes don't like change.
3. The economy is jacked. We're not sure weather to do an economy reset, another world, remove multiples of items, or what. It's just so jacked up.
I'm not saying we're not going to come back to WorldScape, but it won't be anytime soon unfortunately with RR2.0 being worked on. I have done a complete staff reset, and would love for WorldScape to have a clean slate.
honestly, i totally understand why they work hard for rr because people like it and play it alot
the only people who cares about Ws are like 20 years old and are very busy with real life,
new people leave to fast to build up worldscape i have no idea why because worldscape is the most unique rs server
Ws is a very hard game to get into as a new player because of the economy and bartering system.
You guys may as well reset everyone, I mean it'd give people something to do. Plus I'm sure everyone would rather play and do something then stand there alone looking at their account.

At this point I support this. As someone who has put in countless hours of my time playing this server trying to be number one on the highscores (so close, yet so far!) I agree with Jake in saying that it's time to reset everyone. Putting it into perspective, five years of my time is going to get wiped away when Ryan does it and I think that I'm alright with that.
Now this would mean a complete wipe of the game, right? All of our skills, our banks, everything? If I want a reset then I want everything to be reset. I want to still play the game I grew up playing for the past half of a decade including all the updates that have stuck around like the bosses you mentioned earlier.
I'd be happy with a reset as long as there were ways to get rare items again, but as James said they're not fixing it for ages anyway :|
id also say change the donors bunk items so that there is actually a point to doing barrows. make them stuff that you can only get through donating. Also, i would prefer no implementing of rares into the game. if so, it should be a drop from a monster 1/1000 or something.

I think, if the reset does so happen to become an option, that the donator shop should be completely deleted out of the game. The donator shop caused a lot of disruption and a lot of arguments. People arguing about spending hours upon hours at barrows for their items and new kids, level 3, walking around with an inventory full of Bandos and God Swords. Even though we had gotten more donations out of it, argue all you want, but it didn't really benefit the in-game community.
If deleting the donor store is too much at least a donator shop overhaul should be done. As Nate said it'll make barrows more active and practically have use again. Perhaps keep the Herbs in the store donator store, them herb mother fuckers are hard to get, and things that aren't droppable or obtainable in the game that aren't rare (Beret and mask).
Also, for the people that have donated, they should get their tokens refunded or if we delete the donor store they should have a greater chance of receiving one of the rares they'd have to release into the community.

That is an interesting thought. Rares being distributed randomly to everyone rather than drop parties. Every $10 donated, your name gets put in another time into the poll.

I say remove OP armor and gear but leave skilling supplies and useless costume items.
That's pretty much what I meant. Although I think Sharks should be removed because it was pretty much the only way you could make money before it was added to the store.
I don't even care about the economy, the economy was screwed up but if you had played for long enough you'd understand the price ranges, sure money was useless but it had a unique trading system with rares used as money which was actually quite fun.
I think if there was a reset, then money might actually have value. (Hence economy).
Granted, the reset did nothing in the past because no one wanted to spend time on their skills again, but I feel like if we all put in the effort just for a little bit and advertized again just like we did a few months ago then we could get some new players into the game and have the server going with the new players so we wouldn't be obligated to get on all the time anymore. The problem right now (besides the server not being up) is that wealth is not easily obtained without any type of help.

How about not deleting every item, keeping the pointless rares alive? Some players, such as Rare4live only played for the collection aspect of the game. I'm all for a new economy, deleting every item, except items that are just cosmetics and doesn't really have a purpose in the game.
Because then people like Rare4live will start out as the richest which would ruin the economy from the start. If we're going to reset it then we should completely reset it and compensate the donors who donated substantial amounts, even though they donated.

I literally gave them money for items and did not give a single shit where the money was going to or what it would be used for.
See how would they go about it though? Would they have to release new rares? Because I don't think that'd work. I like the vast varsity of items. I do however agree with a reset, keep the rares, and make it so it doesn't interfere with the economy (If thats possible?).

Thats not possible. Here in lies the problem. The rares are the economy.

maybe a little, but I think the best possible thing for the donor system is to remove all the armor from it and just leave the herbs and "outfits".
I think everything that could be counted as a rare from that shop or otherwise highly valuable in low quantities should be untradable.
I don't mind regaining my items, just not skills. It took me 4 years to get 172.
I wouldn't mind a reset but the only problem is how the hell do we get most of the rares or items in the game?? There are little to no bosses, there are only 3 enemies people train on, it's a b*tch to get anything good like God armours and GS but try with no bulked up armour sets. A reset won't fix all the problems, but start more anger in the community.

It took me 3.5 years to get to 172. Since then I've earned it several times over.

The whole point of the reset is to make this game have some sort of economy value. Although if we do a reset we'd have to do a FULL reset because people who have 135 fishing could just go and fish a butt-load of sharks and be rich. Everyone needs to start at an even level.

Yes I loved runescape but not 2006 more like late 2009 and 2010 were the golden ages of runescape. So much to do and it was fun. Now it sucks and 2006 is just too outdated and hard for me. :(

unlike everyone else me and like 5 other players including kyle actually played when there was a reset and to me it was the most fun I had on this server for the last like 5+ years playing, because unlike when I started people already had max accounts. When the reset happened there was a economy we traded things to get our skills up and I remember trading 1/3 Saraswords for like 50 herbs because I wanted 135 lol. there was so little people playing everything costed a lot and it was fun seeing who would get the first 135 on a skill instead of played and being late to the party. But as fun as it was.
1st. I would say No. To reset only because last time there was a reset and no one played, but like 5 of us.
2nd. This will be the 3rd time I would have to restart again unlike you guys who say oh do it. Never got level 135 for attack,str,def,hp,magic and farmed barrows for about 5 of every single rare item. You say do it now but once it happens and you spend all that time playing and they choose to go back to it and all your time thrown away with ryan or any other admin+ not willing to give you the items you worked for. You would prob be pissed and just quit all together.
3. This server is never going to get better with players at all if there is no economy. People still want to work for items. Which makes people play, but if 1 person has like 50k+ of a item and is just giving things away people will get what they want in like 40minutes of playing and get bored and quit. This server needs to have a reason to be played and as of right now. there is no reason, and with the reset. All of you who are saying yeah give a reset. Are still not going to play, I know this because on the last reset I didn't see any of you guys ONLINE. So I say no to the reset because it wont change a thing.
God damn it stop talking about updates and just worry about the server getting online first.
