Considering that coins are worthless id say we add a new way of payment into the economy.
I think we should use an item suck as; Charcoal (noted id: 974) and (id: 973)
The benefit with this is that people can't sell stuff to the shop for this.
A few examples on how to earn the Charcoal:
1. you could get them from fishing the chests with a big fishing net
2. it could be a reward from the ::Camp or ::zombies game mode
3. You can get it from thieving one of the higher level Heroes
4. Can be bought with pest control tickets
As you may see there are many positive sides with this. Let me and the developers know what you think!
(maybe you should delete every charcoal in-game incase someone has like 1m of it)
Agree with the idea but while we are doing this CAN WE PLEASE MAKE PHATS,H WEENS, AND SANTAS RARE BY DELETING THEM ALL FROM GAME. just like what we did with berets.

^^ this.
any admins there? please do something :)
C'mon Ryan, help us out. <3
Rex, I think Ryan is away or something. He hasn't replied on Skype or updated his Facebook. sooo.
Just gotta be patient, This suggestion about the party hats/santa's/h'ween masks has been around for a long time. It'll surely have to get through sooner rather than later.
As for the topic i agree with the currency idea, Charcoal is rather random though :P
I like our currency how it is, people buy rares with other rares or dupes which i think is great but maybe some shops to spend GP in like a pure shop.

It's not necessarily the currency that needs a fix, it's the economy. It's just the currency plays a big roll in changing the economy. The more GP is valued the stronger the economy is, usually. As of Worldscape right now pretty much everyone has max cash, and if they don't they could easily obtain it.
Seeing as we can't take back all the GP out there, or whatever the reason is, we need to make a new form or currency.
Welcome to the suggestion; Charcoal.
well instead of charcoal why don't we use shards (CANNOT BE RUNE) like the donator items require?
Couldn't they just reset the money? :o
people would just sell 50k whips to the shop and have the max cash again. Sorry.
something like this is not really necessary though and i could cause the economy to drop once more.
How would it drop the economy?

People don't like change therefore they will quit and the eco will be dead... again
Well, if people don't like change. then gtfo. thats their problem.

if your a mod here and an admin on runerebels, you must have alot of contact with the admins and developers :) right?
I think he just earned his title and respect and it kicked off from there but yes being staff i guess you would have to have contact with the owners.
I would have no problem with doing something to fix the economy since the game is pretty dead at this point... :(
But I agree that introducing a new currency would cause players to just use GP to buy items and then sell them using the new currency, causing that one to go to crap as well.
I wanted to introduce a cash burning blackhole minigame with cool rewards that would either be temporary or would be one use only; kind of like a lottery system to suck money out of the game. 8)
@Ryan: Best way to do it is add a Tax, each day 2% get's taken from cashstack or so.
how about a minigame that requires an entry fee? i guess it would have to be custom

But then the once who make their cash legit wouldn't have the cash to play it :/

Nobody makes their cash legit.
I think we're forgetting that pretty much everyone has millions of whips, dharoks and what not. So they could just sell the items and get the money back.

Yeah, basically you would have to clear all the players of everything to fix the economy, which i don't see as a option..
We've already tried that. Everyone left....
I would like to welcome my suggestion; Charcoal
(examples on playerprices)
6 charcoal = bcp
3 charcoal = dfs
60 charcoal = hellcat
etc..

I like you're idea, i'm just saying if they want to make the currency coins it'll be hard.
If you make a minigame with an entry fee and you price the entry fee high enough, if the minigame is good enough people will keep playing it and if the fee is about 100m they can only play so many games then they have to start mass selling their dupes. perhaps the return of zombies you need an entry fee to play it.

If theirs an entry fee lets be honest no one would play.

I doubt it.
It'd have to be you pay less for how much the reward is worth, Therefor it would just ruin the economy even more because you're paying less for more.
There's more behind this than what people think.

what i do mean is you pay coins as an entry fee and you get tokens as a reward and for zombies rewards you need a lot of tokens.
I honestly think if they made a mini game that you had to pay to get into wouldn't be popular.
Payment for entering a minigame is just stupid, people have millions if whips witch is thousands of billions of coins. an entry fee would not make a change, at all.

You're correct Ryan, and I hate to say I told you so. Literally everything I predicted has come true. I said that as the economy stays bloated it completely destroys any incentive to play the game at all, so no new players will stay to play.
We had a poll discussing the Economy Fix, and since 8 year olds like Richard thought it would be a travesty if he lost his 50k barrow sets, they made multiple accounts to vote no on the polls on the economy fix.
I think what you and Kevin failed to understand about The Worldscape Rebellion was just what it was all about. All we ever did was boycott and advocate others to boycott the game, so you would implement the economy fix. Why did we do this? Because we didn't want WS to die. But now, when I check the player count, on a good day it's at 5.
But no, after Program and Mute had to be assholes and do what they did, you and Kevin assumed that messing with the site wasn't incidental. Instead, you figured the whole point of the rebellion was to do what Aaron and Luke did, so you ignored our requests.
Then strangely, I get banned of WS forums and I AM NEVER TOLD WHY. I messaged Kevin and he says that it's because I "stole" players, yet Kane did also and guess what? He walks away clean (by the way, Kane fully agrees with me on this.) Yet strangely, although I steal players and I'm horrible and awful, you still allow me to post on the RuneRebels forums?
I messaged you time and time again about all of this. You and Kevin ignore me. This is typical for Kevin, but for you it never happens. I even posted appeals on the RR forums about me being banned here for no reason, and guess what? My topic was deleted and never addressed in minutes time.
I seriously have no idea what goes through your mind on this, but as an outside observer it just makes AGF look dysfunctional. Yes, I was a b*tch at times, but you know what dude? I only had a sense of urgency to save the game before it's inevitable demise came. Then you and Kevin didn't listen, and now we stand here months later, both of us admitting that Worldscape is near the end of its rapidly decaying orbit.
You made a really good server for a few years man. Then when Jeremy left 50% of AGF staff did shit like this everyday. So in the end, I feel anything but sorry for you. Peace.
