Client load up

Hello, When I load my client, When it gets to the user name and password part, it freezes and then lags when I log in. It goes so slow, and it's so lagy, I have to wait 2 mins for what i type to appear for other players to read. The funny thing is, I have 3 gigs of ram and my computer is very fast.
