What is taking so long!

I know this is off topic,

but did you hear about Frugoo Scape? Jagex made them shut down the server, or they would sue. Right now Al (Frugooscape) is having his lawyers look into it. I never want this to happen to worldscape. It won't happen, right?

I trust it won't because the Staff are truly amazing.

Yeah I was wondering about that too, because Al (frugoo scape) put so much effort into his server, and than Jagex took it down. So are you safe from Fagex, whoops I mean Jagex?

Killer, you can play by clicking on the *Play Worldscape Classic Button* On the Home Page, hope I helped you, I recommend downloading the client.

Jagex made them take down the client because it is legally theirs, the server doesn't belong to them and they can't shut it down. So I could legally run a server, but make users obtain a client themselves. :(

I understand that, but Jagex knew about it for awhile, why all of a sudden did they make them shut it down? Also, when you say "find your own client" Does that mean find a 503 Web client that is copyrighted and legal so that we can play your server? Oh well, it doesn't matter much at the moment, i suppose. I just hope Jagex isn't that stupid that they make you shut down Worldscape. Good luck coding some more Ryan!

Well technically every single RS client (even the old ones) are illegal. (Except the actual client on RuneScape's website.)

So yea I mean people would have to find a 503 to client to use. But this week I'm updating the server, so now were using a 508 client. 8)

Yes, 508 IS possible :P

The current version was upped to 510 a few days ago, but unfortunately its like 474 where you can't get the mapping... Hopefully there will be another jump to 511 or 512 where its avaliable to unpack.
