When ever I try to load Worldscape classic and, I got an error.
Java Plug-in 1.6.0_14
Using JRE version 1.6.0_14-b08 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM

Delete and re-load the client. Sometimes deleting your cookies will help.

Try one of these thing,

1) Download/Update Java Again

2) Set the Classpath/path for the right destination.

3) Use the batch to run the client.

NOTE: Clearing cache does nothing, Java doesn't connect to any browser's caching components.
And 1 thing that might have occurred this that that you have "Open With" to another program thus making it the default program.
