Just lost all the respect I once had for you.

32GB of memory is absolutely insane for any laptop or even PC mind that. No program(s) will come even close to using that type of RAM nowadays. Maybe in 5 or 10 years, but not nowadays.

Anyways, it really just depends what you're looking for. For laptops, I like macs, just because their OSs have a more intuitive interface, but if you're really looking for a computer with a lot of memory and/or processing power (which it looks like you are) I'd honestly just go for a PC. A lot more can fit in a computer case than the bottom half of a laptop, and plus if you go for a PC, you can build it yourself for half the price. :D (Which is surprisingly easy and fun.) Your choice in the end. If the most extensive shit you're gonna do is play WS on it, or similarly based graphic games, don't blow your money on specs that ridiculous lol.

Macs are awesome, too bad they're so expensive. :-\

If you buy that laptop that has 32GB of RAM then you should just burn your money. Anything more than 12GB is really pushing it and you've nearly tripled it with a purchase like that. I upgraded from 4 to 8 recently and my computer is faster faster than I could need it to be for anything I do with it.

You'd need a maximum of 1GB. Even then you're pushing it, penis shaft.

Nah, I seem to find time for modded Minecraft now which can use a fair amount of RAM. Currently I'm limiting it to 2GB but it's clear that it would appreciate a little bit more than that.

The only thing Apple I have ever used was the Ipod's (I loved them!) and the Iphone.  I didn't like the iphone because I feel like I can't do as much as I can on my Samsung.

I don't really consider getting a Mac because that'll mean learning a new OS.  I'm good with Ubuntu & Windows and I rather stay on that boat but hey, one day I might try it.    I hear they're top notch.

@Krest

I agree, it'll be a waste of money.   I think the max capacity of ram I'd use would be 12GB.  I'm sitting on 4GB and it's good for me but the study I'm about to undergo requires 8GB + Ram.    I'm loving my pavilion, I'm seriously thinking of getting the upgraded ones and I think they'd suit me more for my budget.  But hey, Idk yet I have some time to consider good options.  I don't wanna waste a grand on a POS.

You pay for quality with mac.

Never get a gaming laptop they are heavy and have bad battery life. So it't pretty much a desktop. Not sure if you want light wight or heavy and powerful.

How do you have a picture of Ryan's fridge...?

Honestly if you've bought your current laptop within the last two years or so then there's not really a point in buying a new one. I'd just buy more RAM if that's the case.
