Okay, I think the guides are unlocked for a reason. A lot of people make pointless posts or along those lines. I'm not going to lie, I know I have... maybe realizing it or not. And I know we all have at some point. This rant is like getting posts for the counts.

But it's not pathetic, if you did something you want people to acknowledge it, right? If only a few people comment on something you work hard on it's like wow. By commenting on it, it shows that at least you payed attention to it and sometimes read through it and thought it was pretty nice or helped you out in a little bit.

This is a forum. You're always going to have people that post to gain post count.

This guy is smart.

Don't worry about post count too much. It's a mere symbol of how much some people spam or it's of how long they have been with this community.

I see more jealousy in this topic more than concern.
